GYMNASTICS AT HOLLOW ROCKS

Our gymnastics programme has two different classes each week.

GYMNASTICS

Mon 6pm | Sun 2pm

Our gymnastic classes are 1 hour sessions designed to help you learn about and practice a range of gymnastic movements including handstands, push ups, pull ups, core work, beam work and basic floor work. From time to time we book a local gymnastics hall to give people a chance to train on equipment such as parallel bars and trampolines.

Calisthenics

Mon 12pm & 7pm | Tues 9am | Wed 11am, 6pm and 8pm | Fri 6pm

Discover the power of bodyweight training with our inclusive calisthenics class, designed for participants of all fitness levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, this class offers a variety of exercises that can be modified to match your individual abilities and goals.

1-2-1 Coaching

A one -hour session with our expert gymnastics coach Emilia. This is suitable for total beginners who want to learn the basics like balance and co-ordination skills, or for the more advanced who wants to focus on specific areas.

Join us for an exciting 2-hour gymnastics workshop designed specifically for beginners! This introductory session will guide you through the basics of gymnastics in a fun and supportive environment. You'll learn fundamental skills such as balance, coordination, and basic tumbling techniques, all while gaining confidence and discovering the joy of movement.

Meet the coach

Emilia

Gymnastics Coach

Emilia was a gymnast for 10 years and was competing for 6 years. Her passion for coaching came from watching the impact of gymnastics and fitness on people’s mental and physical wellbeing. Her favourite aspect of gymnastics is its holistic effect on the mind and body including strength, flexibility and coordination. Emilia believes that gymnastics is a sport which is accessible to everyone regardless of their age, gender or fitness levels.

Joining Hollow Rocks is free and gives you access to our free running, walking and cycling club and a calendar of social events.

Once you've registered you will be given a free pass so you can trial one of our coaching classes.
