BOXING AT HOLLOW ROCKS

Our boxing programme has four different class types each week.

BEGINNERS BOXING

Saturdays at 1:30pm
This class is all about learning the ground level fundamentals like footwork, correct technique, different punches, perfecting your stance and defending yourself. This class also includes a circuit workout which is tailored to enhance the learned techniques. It’s not just for raw beginners, we all need to brush up once in a while!

INTERMEDIATE BOXING

Saturdays at 12pm
In this class, you’ll be able to develop more technical boxing skills, working on intermediate level combinations, strategy, and increasing your range of technique and skills. We’ll also address your physical tuning, through circuit based conditioning and strength drills at a higher intensity than the beginners class. We have a 60 minute and a special 90 minute version of this class.

MIXED ABILITY BOXING

Thursdays at 7pm
A one hour session for all levels of boxers. In this session, we'll mix technique drills with conditioning, improving your all-round skills. Expect to work on footwork, punching combinations, defense and fitness!

BOXERCISE

Weds 10am | Thurs 8pm | Fri 11am | Sat 10am | Sun 8am
Get fit through boxing! These 60 minute sessions will focus on training and conditioning yourself like a boxer through a fun and high energy workout.

1-2-1 Coaching

This is your pre-fight training camp! Just you and Dan, our boxing coach, and you can put the focus exactly where you want it in this one hour session. Whether you are completely new to boxing and just want to learn basic technique, or you are more advanced and have specific goals, the 1-2-1 will help you achieve your aims. Footwork, padwork, on the bag, fitness for boxing, strategy - it's up to you where you want to focus!

Boxing Beginners Workshop

A two hour-session for absolute boxing beginners! We'll introduce you the sport, discuss boxing styles, and get you going on the basics - hand position / footwork / and how to think like a boxer. And by the end you'll be on the pads and the bags!

Boxing Coach

Dan has been passionate about boxing from a young age and has been coaching for the past 7 years. His favourite aspect of coaching is helping others achieve their personal goals, whether it's improving fitness, building confidence, or mastering technique. With a deep commitment to the sport, Dan envisions boxing as a lifelong pursuit - both as a coach and a competitor.

Joining Hollow Rocks is free and gives you access to our free running, walking and cycling club and a calendar of social events.
